Antarctica Confidential is an independent resource for planning a trip to Antarctica. It is owned and operated by Pandrake Partners, LLC. These terms govern your use of the site and your membership. The short version: read freely, use what you learn, respect the work, and don't resell it or harvest it. The longer version is below.
By using this site or holding a membership, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
Membership and Access
Access comes in three tiers: a free tier, a paid membership, and a professional membership for travel advisors. Paid and professional memberships are sold on an annual basis and grant access to the full guidebook, the ship and operator profiles, and the Antarctica Trip Finder.
Membership is licensed to the individual member. Your login is yours alone. Sharing an account, or the credentials that access it, so that others can use paid content without their own membership, is not permitted.
Member Conduct
This site is a place to learn and plan, not a place to be sold to. You may not use the site, the membership community, or the professional directory to solicit, advertise to, or harvest contact information from other members or visitors. The no-solicitation policy applies site-wide.
Violations of these terms, including solicitation, credential sharing, scraping, or other misuse, may result in immediate access revocation without refund.
Intellectual Property and Permitted Use
Antarctica Confidential and all of its content are the property of Pandrake Partners, LLC. This includes the written articles, the knowledge base, the editorial selection and arrangement of information throughout the site, and the design and structure of the site itself. These are protected by copyright.
You are welcome to read, reference, and share links to this site. What you may not do, without prior written permission, is reproduce, redistribute, republish, scrape, or automatically harvest the content, in whole or in part, whether for commercial use or to recreate the resource elsewhere.
Membership content, including the full guidebook, the ship and operator profiles, and the Antarctica Trip Finder, is licensed for the personal use of the individual member. Sharing membership content, or the credentials that access it, beyond the individual member is not permitted. For the professional tier, the license extends to the agent's own professional reference and client advisory work, but not to republishing or redistributing the content as one's own.
We pursue unauthorized reproduction and scraping through the means available to us, including takedown requests and, where membership terms are breached, revocation of access.
For Travel Professionals
Travel professionals are welcome as readers and learners. The knowledge base contains information that is useful for agents who specialize in or are developing expertise in Antarctic expedition travel. That is the intended use of the professional tier.
Limitation of Liability
Antarctica Confidential provides general travel planning information and independent advisory guidance. It does not constitute professional financial, legal, or medical advice. All travel decisions including booking, insurance, and health preparation are your own responsibility.
Information about operators, ships, pricing, and availability is provided in good faith based on publicly available sources and industry knowledge current at time of publication. Antarctica Confidential makes no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of this information and is not responsible for changes made by operators after publication.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. When they change, the "last updated" date above will change with them. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Vermont, United States.
